CURRENT PROJECTS

Stable Block

We now have a stable block which is purpose built to house three RDA Horses / Ponies, as well as having attached a purpose built tack room.  We are currently planning  fundraising events and seeking sponsorship in order to put the finishing touches to these stables in order to have a self contained yard purely for Papplewick RDA.  These finishing touches include:
Rubber matting for three stables - for the comfort and welfare of the Horses and Ponies.
Water supply taken across to the yard and the installation of water drinkers.
Electricity taken across to the yard and the installation of lights.
Landscaping of the ground around the stable block for easy access for Horses, Volunteers and Disabled Riders.

PORTACABIN:
We have also taken delivery of the Portacabin for the group.  This will provide our riders with a safe place to assemble before and after their riding sessions.  The Portacabin has been donated to the group however it requires quite a bit of restoration and maintenance work.
Fundraising has allowed us to re-felt the roof, but there is still work to be done on the exterior walls.
There is decorating to be carried our throughout (pain and emulsion has been kindly donated) and new floor covering to be laid.
The whole building requires water and electricity connecting to it and the toilet needs converting into a disabled toilet.

If you can help in any way with this project we would be really exciting to hear from you so please get in touch.
